Exciting news!

In March I did a photo shoot with a lovely woman named Amy. She needed a couple of head shots done for a magazine that she was going to be featured in. We ended up taking a couple of head shots, but at the end she decided to go with a more upbeat photo of her jumping. Today I was scrolling through Facebook and I came across the photo that I took. It was featured in the magazine and I was credited for my photo. It’s so crazy to see a photo that I took on a magazine, it’s hard to describe how I feel. Originally I thought she was only submitting one picture, turns out she chose to submit two and they both ended up in the magazine.

Photography for me has always been a hobby, something I did for fun, I never ever thought that my photo would end up on a magazine. Big or small, the popularity of the magazine doesn’t matter, to me this is a huge accomplishment. I don’t know what the future holds for me, but I am really excited to see what else is in store.
