I’m excited to share my first session of 2017. The lovely lady below wanted portraits taken because she’s never had any professionally done. When she contacted me I was very excited because I love taking portraits in the winter. We were really lucky this day, the sun was shining, the air was crisp and the location we shot at was quiet.
Rae was shy at first but once I got her talking, she became more comfortable. When I first meet a client, right off the bat, I let them know that this is supposed to be a fun experience for them, I want them to feel comfortable and to also trust me. At the end of the session she told me that she had a great time and that I made her feel at ease. I was really happy to hear that! Below are some of the shots from that day!
QOTD: Do you enjoy shooting outdoors in the winter and do you have any new year resolutions? Mine is to book as many outdoor sessions as I can and to blog more often!
The world that she lives in is just magical, one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever seen.
Another beautiful day, of course I went on a photo session and made my wonderful boyfriend come along. We did get the chance to walk around and enjoy the scenery before taking all these pictures.
Once again, I used my iphone 5s camera and none of these photos have been edited.

FINALLY! It’s all over, I can finally say that I am completely done school. Summer is around the corner and I am really excited to see what this summer has in store for me. To celebrate the end of the school year, we decided to have a lunch date with our classmates at a delicious restaurant. There I am, Continue reading
I went to Montana’s yesterday for lunch and oh boy was it delicious. I love trying new restaurants when I can. I feel like I have been to every restaurant in Kitchener/Waterloo, so it was time to re-visit some of my old favorites.
Montana’s is a good restaurant to take your family/friends. It has a southern feel too it. Most of the restaurant is made out of wood, so are the seats. There are moose heads on the wall (not real) and there’s generally a good vibe.
As usual I ordered my favorite drink, diet pepsi with a lemon. I love how they put the drink in a mason jar. I was really tempted to take it home with me. Don’t worry, I didn’t.
I ended up ordering a southern fried chicken sandwich with pickles, lettuce and coleslaw ( I took the coleslaw out) It was much better than I inticipated. For those of you who don’t know, I am a huge chicken lover. I will eat anything chicken related. It’s quite the obsession.
My boyfriend ordered ribs and corn with fries, his food looked delicious so of course I had to take a picture of it.
Over all, I really enjoyed eating at this restaurant. If you have a Montana’s near you, I suggest you try it. I mentioned before that I am a foodie, if you have any restaurants to recommend, let me know!

As for today’s post, I went to my local park again with a friend of mine, it was a beautiful day. The weather has been really nice; I’m trying to take advantage of it. Lately I have been obsessed with taking pictures of flowers and anything nature related. It seems like I am not the only one, I saw at least 5 people carrying their professional cameras. The park that I have been going to is fairly big and has a man made pond that runs along the park, it’s beautiful at night.
Before I forget, I’m not good with naming flowers so if you know what the white flower (that I’m holding up) is called please let me know! If you want to see photos that I don’t post on my blog or have any questions, click here to like my Facebook page.
Last but not least, here is my quote of the day. I found it on twitter! Thanks for stopping by 🙂
